Cruise Travel Shore Excursions
When the ships are in port, there are different options for going ashore. The ships will usually berth alongside the port and you are able to disembark via a gangway. Occasionally where we sail into smaller ports, ships will be required to anchor and you will get into a smaller boat (called a tender) which will take you from the ship to the port.
Shore Excursions
A skilled team carefully selects local operators in every destination to provide a tailored programme of excursions for Cunard. When taking a shore excursion selected by Cunard, you have the reassurance of knowing that you will never miss the ship. The shore excursions team knows exactly where each group is and ensures all parties have returned safely. This peace of mind allows you to explore the world of destinations at the end of the gangway, and make the very most of your time ashore.

On your own
You are able to make your own arrangements in port, but you will need to make sure that you leave plenty of time to return to the ship in time for sailing that evening as our ships need to leave their berths at strictly scheduled times.
