SUNBURY PLANTATION HOUSE The house was built over 300 years ago by Matthew Chapman, one of the first settlers on the island. One of the country’s best collections of antiques can be found here, along with the largest collection of antique horse carriages in the Caribbean.
GUN HILL SIGNAL STATION Gun Hill Signal Station provides a magnificent view of a large part of the island. It is the finest of a series of signal stations, built in 1818. These stations sighted ships approaching Barbados and signalled to each other in warning of the approaching vessel.
OCEAN PARK AQUARIUM This is Barbados’ newest attraction. It features 33 displays exhibiting a range of both freshwater and saltwater marine species and a children’s playground.
BEACHES Barbados has some of the best white-sand beaches in the Caribbean. Experience one through a ship’s tour.

This fun filled adventure will take in some of the off-road scenery that can only be seen by Four by Four Jeep.
Along the way you will learn the folklore, culture and history of Barbados and see many of the island’s highlights. Your journey takes you through a gully system and onto Joes River Forest, with towering trees, many of which are indigenous to Barbados and also home to the Green Monkey.
Drive the scenic coastal road, where you will see one of the longest stretches of beach on the island. Heading off road again you will find yourself at Cattlewash Hill, where you can enjoy an incredible view of the dramatic east coast. The convoy continues its way through quaint villages to a spectacular vista some 850feet above sea level, overlooking the interior of the island known as the Scotland District.
As you descend to historic Holetown, your return journey continues along the rich and famous west coast also known as the Platinum Coast, before returning to Bridgetown.

The original building of St. John’s Church was erected in 1860 and the present gothic structure is situated on a cliff 800 feet above sea level. Step inside to see the double staircase of cedar leading to the organ gallery and the traditional high-backed pews. The frangipani trees in the yard lead you to some magnificent views of the east coast.
The views from the Highland Centre are also spectacular. Located in the heart of the island, 1,004 feet above sea level, the picturesque landscape sweeps down to the east coast. Here, you will be offered some welcome refreshment whilst you take in the surrounding views.
Pass by sights such as Heroes Square (formerly Trafalgar Square) and Gun Hill Signal Station as you head towards the rugged Atlantic coastline. See Thomas Church, and pass through Holetown for a photograph stop at the monument to commemorate the place where the first settlers landed in 1627. Enjoy viewing the opulent Sandy Lane area before returning to the ship in Bridgetown. Note: This tour involves approximately 20 minutes of walking over relatively flat surfaces.

You will be welcomed aboard your catamaran to set sail along Barbados’ beautiful coastline. See some of the island's finest homes and hotels dotted along magnificent white sand beaches only visible from the sea.
Take to the warm, inviting waters and snorkel over a shipwreck with shoals of colourful tropical fish. Afterwards you can simply relax, lie in the shady cabin, bask in the sun on deck and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Your catamaran will make another stop, giving you chance to view and swim with the enchanting Hawksbill Turtles, an opportunity not to be missed.
During the cruise, enjoy a wonderful Caribbean-style buffet luncheon on board. The delicious local dishes will be accompanied by unlimited rum punch, local beer and soft drinks. Note: Please wear your swimwear, sunscreen and take a towel. You will be required to remove shoes whilst on board the catamaran. Step aboard your catamaran for an unforgettable adventure. Set sail along the island’s coast towards a sheltered bay for a wonderful experience with some of Barbados’ marine inhabitants. This area is known for its population of Hawksbill Turtles, who enjoy the temperate calm waters off the west coast. Take this opportunity to snorkel with the graceful wild sea turtles and watch the crew feed these endangered creatures – an underwater camera is a must.
Take a dip in the warm, inviting waters from the boat; alternatively you may choose to simply relax on deck and enjoy the sunshine.
All too soon it’s time to depart and, as you cruise along the island’s west coast, the crew will serve refreshments from the open bar. Note: Please note that this tour will be by motorised catamaran. Take in the beach views as you travel along the Spring Garden Highway towards the Barbados Wildlife Reserve. Once inside the Reserve you are in the animal’s kingdom as some of the creatures are free to wander as they please. It's a community devoted to man's love and respect for nature as well as to research and conservation. These animals are not tame, and unexpected noises may frighten them away. Stroll though the beautiful mahogany woods or take a seat on one of the benches and see what comes your way. Watch where you step, as you are certain to see some of the numerous tortoises that roam the reserve.
This tropical haven is home to many animals, reptiles, birds and of course the green monkey. Look out for these little creatures that have saved thousands of lives and are responsible for 70% of the world’s polio vaccines.
Refreshments will be offered before taking the return drive to Bridgetown, passing through sleepy country villages enjoying the scenery. Note: Guests are advised that ground within the Reserve is uneven. Comfortable, flat, walking shoes are recommended. Please note that the animals do not all roam freely, they are all part of an ongoing conservation programme, and some are housed and caged.

Take a scenic drive along the coast and onto the Edgewater Inn, located just off the beaten track and perched on a cliffside overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Capture the breathtaking views whilst enjoying a cool, refreshing drink.
Afterwards, you will head to Sunbury House Plantation, which dates back to 1650. The house was destroyed by fire in 1995 and has now been gracefully restored. It possesses one of the island’s superior collections of antiques, and in the extensively landscaped grounds, you will see fine authentic examples of the machinery used in the last century.
During your visit to Sunbury House Plantation a sumptuous afternoon tea will be available for you to enjoy. Note: This tour has very little walking, however there is some uneven ground and steps to be negotiated.

Enjoy a scenic drive to Gun Hill Signal Station, located in the parish of St. George, which provides a magnificent and captivating view of the entire island. The Signal Station was restored and landscaped by the Barbados National Trust and now houses a collection of military memorabilia.
Afterwards, continue to Orchid World which spans over six acres of land, some 800 feet above sea level. Meander your way through the beautiful outcrops of coral, rock gardens, cool shady gullies and ponds. You will be fascinated by the beautiful orchid plants growing in mid-air with their roots completely free of any soil.
Sunbury Plantation House dates back to 1650 and possesses one of the country's superior collections of antiques. The cellars house a unique collection of antique carriages, as well as many items used in the domestic life of the plantation. In the extensively landscaped grounds you will see fine authentic examples of old carts and machinery used in the last century to cultivate the land. Enjoy some light refreshments before your scenic return drive. Note: This tour involves approximately one hour of walking over some uneven and inclined surfaces, including steps. Flat, comfortable shoes are recommended.

Barbados is one of the few places in the world that served Concorde as part of its scheduled service.
Enjoy a scenic drive along the south coast to the island’s newest attraction – The Barbados Concorde Exhibit. The exhibit provides the opportunity to experience what it may have been like to travel on a Concorde aircraft. You will be shown a short film and have the opportunity to take a seat in one of the original leather seats and also take a peek into the cockpit.
Afterwards, you will take a drive through some of the island’s sleepy country villages and on to St John’s Church for a brief stop. This 17th century Church is reminiscent of a typical British parish church, complete with stained windows and traditional bell tower. Situated on a cliff 800 feet above sea level, there are wonderful views of the rugged east and south east coast.
Your final stop will take you to Edgewater Inn, which boasts a nine mile coastline view of the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy a refreshing drink and relax and take in the picturesque views, before the return drive to Bridgetown. Note: This tour involves around 40 minutes of walking. There are approximately 14 steps to negotiate at the Concorde Exhibit. Flat, comfortable shoes are recommended.

Cruise through an amazing undersea world at depths of 65 to 100 feet as you embark on a voyage of discovery aboard the Atlantis Submarine. Atlantis is one of the premier attractions in the Caribbean, providing a unique exposure to a fascinating underwater world.
You will board a boat for the short transfer out to the dive site to join the Atlantis Submarine. The colour and abundance of exotic fish, spectacular sponge gardens and fascinating coral formations will be unveiled outside your porthole.
Atlantis is maintained at a cool air-conditioned temperature and sealevel pressure. Experienced crew will point out and describe the sights in detail as tropical fish pass within touching distance of your porthole. Note: Children under four are not permitted to participate and all participating children must be at least three feet tall. This tour involves very little walking, however guests must be able to negotiate an 11 step ladder into and out of the Atlantis Submarine. The Submarine dive lasts approximately 40 minutes.
