Rhodes, Greece

Legend has it that Apollo blessed this isle with sunshine and beauty. True to the myths, Rhodes welcomes you to magnificent scenery and umbrella-lined beaches. One optional excursion explores the medieval Old Town where the Grand Master's Palace is famed for its superb mosaic floors. The Colossus of Rhodes, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, is reputed to have stood guard over Mondraaki Harbour. Today, the bronze statues of a stag and doe top the two columns marking the harbour entrance.
