Nicknamed ‘Isla Bonita’ or ‘The Beautiful Island’, La Palma is one of the smaller Canary Islands. It’s capital, Santa Cruz de la Palma is a picturesque harbour located on the Eastern part of the island. The island’s landscape is a product of the volcanic formation, with numerous beaches of black sand, mountainous terrain and rich plant life. The famous fashion designer Manolo Blahnik was born and raised here.
